Anthurium Velvet Arrow is an exclusive seed-grown F1 hybrid developed through our own breeding programme at Kwekerij Dirk Mermans in Belgium.

This selection stands out for its elongated, arrow-shaped foliage and distinctive velvety leaf texture. The leaves display subtle, refined venation rather than strongly contrasting veins, giving the plant an elegant, understated appearance.

New growth adds another interesting feature: emerging leaves develop beautiful copper to bronze tones, accompanied by reddish petioles. As the leaves mature, they gradually turn green while retaining their soft, velvety appearance.

Velvet Arrow was carefully selected for this combination of leaf shape, texture and colour. As the plant continues to grow, its leaf proportions, texture and colour may develop further. Its mature characteristics are still being evaluated as part of our ongoing breeding programme.

Available in limited quantities as part of our exclusive collection of in-house Anthurium hybrids.
