Anthurium Corduroy is an exclusive seed-grown F1 hybrid developed through our own breeding programme at Kwekerij Dirk Mermans in Belgium.

This selection stands out for its deeply textured, heart-shaped foliage. Pronounced, recessed veins divide the leaf surface into softly raised sections, creating a distinctive, almost quilted appearance. The rich green colour and subtle sheen further accentuate this three-dimensional structure.

New leaves emerge in warm bronze to reddish tones before gradually turning green as they mature. Even at a young stage, Corduroy displays a remarkable combination of leaf texture, shape and colour.

As the plant continues to grow, its leaf proportions, texture and colour may develop further. Its mature characteristics are still being evaluated as part of our ongoing breeding programme.

Corduroy was carefully selected from our seed-grown F1 hybrids for its distinctive foliage and promising characteristics.

Available in limited quantities as part of our exclusive collection of in-house Anthurium hybrids.
