Philodendron ‘Green Dragon’ × joepii is an F1 hybrid crossed and grown from seed in our own greenhouse.

This cross combines Philodendron ‘Green Dragon’ with the distinctive Philodendron joepii. While the younger leaves are still relatively simple and elongated, the newer growth is already starting to develop a much more pronounced and unusual shape, giving us an exciting first glimpse of how this hybrid may mature.

As these plants are grown from seed, natural variation occurs within the cross. Individual plants may differ in leaf shape, proportions and growth habit, and their appearance can change considerably as they mature.

With two parents known for interesting foliage, we're especially curious to see how the leaf shape continues to develop with age. The plants already show plenty of character, but their mature form may still have some surprises in store.
