Philodendron plowmanii 'Watermelon' is a beautiful tropical foliage plant, admired for its heart-shaped leaves and distinctive striped pattern. Different shades of fresh green, silvery green and darker veins create a striking contrast, reminiscent of the markings on a watermelon rind.

Even as a young plant, its characteristic colouring is already visible. As it matures, the leaves become larger and develop a more pronounced, textured appearance.

Unlike climbing Philodendrons, Philodendron plowmanii has a creeping growth habit. Its stem grows horizontally along the substrate, making a wider pot an excellent choice as the plant develops.

Care: Place in bright, indirect light and use an airy, well-draining potting mix. Water when the upper layer of the substrate starts to dry, and avoid leaving the roots in standing water.

Please note: These are young plants, and their foliage will continue to develop in size, shape and texture as they mature.
