Anthurium Opaline is an exclusive seed-grown F1 hybrid developed through our own breeding programme at Kwekerij Dirk Mermans in Belgium.

This selection stands out for its striking contrast between young and mature foliage. New leaves emerge in delicate, pale green to almost creamy tones, with beautiful pink to reddish venation and petioles. As the leaves mature, they gradually develop a richer green colour.

The broad, heart-shaped leaves display a gently quilted surface, with softly raised sections and clearly defined veins. The combination of their elegant shape, subtle texture and remarkable colour transitions gives Opaline a distinctive appearance, even at a young stage.

As the plant continues to grow, its leaf shape, proportions, texture and colour may develop further. Its mature characteristics are still being evaluated as part of our ongoing breeding programme.

Opaline was carefully selected from our seed-grown F1 hybrids for its distinctive foliage and promising characteristics.

Available in limited quantities as part of our exclusive collection of in-house Anthurium hybrids.
