Why add a heatpack?

During cold weather, a heatpack helps stabilise the temperature inside your parcel and protects tropical plants. Our heatpacks provide up to 72 hours of gentle, consistent warmth.

Please note: most cold damage does not occur during long-distance transport, but in the last mile (unheated delivery vans, outdoor sorting depots). At that stage, the heatpack is often no longer at full strength, which means frost damage can still occur.

How many heatpacks do you need?

Recommended per pot size:

• Pot size 12 → 1 heatpack for every 2 plants

• Pot size 17, 19 and 21 → 1 heatpack per plant

• Pot size 24 → not needed (large box volume makes heatpacks ineffective)

• Activates when exposed to air

• Provides warmth for up to 72 hours

• Securely attached inside the parcel by our team

• Single-use

Our cold-weather shipping policy

If we consider shipping unsafe (due to frost or very low temperatures):

1. We personally contact the customer by email

2. We propose postponing the shipment free of charge until conditions improve

3. If a customer chooses to proceed against our recommendation, we cannot be held responsible for cold damage — even when heatpacks are added
