Anthurium magnificum × Anthurium nigrolaminum is a first-generation (F1) hybrid from our in-house breeding programme.

This cross brings together two outstanding velvet Anthuriums. The broad, striking foliage of Anthurium magnificum is combined with the dark, elegant character of Anthurium nigrolaminum, creating seedlings with exciting potential as they mature.

Even at a young age, these plants display beautiful contrasting venation, a rich velvety leaf texture and vigorous growth. As with all seed-grown F1 hybrids, every seedling is genetically unique and may develop its own combination of characteristics inherited from both parents.

To maximize the chances of discovering exceptional new cultivars, we germinate considerably more seedlings than we ultimately need. The most promising individuals are retained for our breeding programme, while the remaining healthy seedlings are made available in limited numbers through this exclusive collection.

This plant has been grown from seed in our own breeding programme and is not a tissue-cultured clone, making every individual truly one of a kind.
