Our Philodendron Pedatum is a special kind: it has red petioles instead of green ones, and was cultivated by Guido Mermans, Dirk's father.
This plant truly loves to climb. The name Philodendron is Greek and means literally "lover of trees". This is why they come with a mosspole they can attach themselves to.
If the plant outgrows its mosspole you can extend it.
Height: 100-110cm Potsize: 19 cm
Water: water when the soil is dry (not only the top layer)
Light:semi shade to full indirect light. Make sure to turn the plant as it has a strong tendency to grow towards the light
Soil: light soilmix (like our Premium mix for aroids)
Toxicity: slightly toxic to children and pets if ingested
Temperature: between 10 and 30 degrees Celcius, ideal temperature around 18 degrees.
Nutrition: add some fertiliser wth every watering during growing season (spring, summer and autumn)
