Philodendron longipetiolatum × lacerum is a first-generation (F1) hybrid from our in-house breeding programme.

This exciting cross combines the elegant growth habit of Philodendron longipetiolatum with the distinctive foliage of Philodendron lacerum. As the plants mature, they may develop a fascinating combination of characteristics inherited from both parents, making every seedling an exciting individual.

Young plants already display vigorous growth and attractive elongated foliage. As with all seed-grown F1 hybrids, every seedling is genetically unique and will continue to develop its own individual characteristics over time.

To maximize the chances of discovering exceptional new cultivars, we sow considerably more seedlings than we ultimately need. The most promising individuals are selected for our breeding programme, while the remaining healthy seedlings are offered in limited quantities through this exclusive collection.
