Monstera deliciosa ‘Bulbasaur’
These plants are still growing and are expected to be available from 23 May, starting with our on-site pop-up shop during Plantlovers Day. A selection will be released in the webshop afterwards, with individual photos available.
We deliberately choose to grow these plants a bit longer, so they are well established before being offered for sale.
The Monstera deliciosa ‘Bulbasaur’ is a variegated Monstera with a softer, more mint-toned appearance compared to standard albo types. The leaves show a mix of green, pale mint and light marbling. Some plants are more subtle, others more pronounced — each one develops its own pattern.
Like other variegated Monsteras, this is the result of a natural mutation in chlorophyll distribution (chimerism), which causes the lighter areas in the leaves. Because of this, variegation can vary from plant to plant and from leaf to leaf.
Monstera deliciosa is native to Central and South America and grows best in warm conditions with bright, indirect light. This cultivar stands out for its softer colour palette and slightly less contrast compared to typical white variegated forms.
These plants are grown in pot size 12 and are well rooted. They are still actively developing, and variegation may continue to evolve as the plant grows.
Each plant is photographed individually — you will receive the exact plant shown.
